On this 20th anniversary of the SAA Award, on behalf of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) I would like to congratulate the committee, mentors, SAA Award winners as well as the nominees and judges who have worked hard to ensure that this award will continue to be recognized by the public especially the best works of Unpar Architecture Students. Taking this great opportunity, I would like to express my deep appreciation and gratitude that this year the SAA Awards program has gained its 20 years of achievement. Representing the Faculty of Engineering, Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), I would like to congratulate the Department of Architecture, UNPAR for the journey of SAA Awards which has reached 20 years and is still ongoing. It has been a fluctuating but also remarkable and inspiring journey that constantly connects students in the Department of Architecture, Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) who received the best marks in their final design projects with the professional world of architectural practice since 2003. I hope that SAA Awards will keep inspiring the architectural education and profession in Indonesia in the upcoming years and always bring pride to the Department of Architecture and Faculty of Engineering, UNPAR. Within the framework of SAA Awards 40 that is a part of Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering - Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) that's held regularly every semester is a part of academic activity Final Studio Architecture / Studio Akhir Arsitektur (SAA). Thus, in this period, the Undergraduate Architecture Study Program congratulates the 40th SAA Awards for coming this far, especially by turning 20 this year is not a short time for an award that has been going on. Hopefully the SAA Awards in the future can be a starting point in producing student architectural works that can answer future challenges by considering the human aspect on the design side.

SAA Awards is an event held periodically in the Architecture Department - UNPAR, Bandung. It’s been 20 years since its first exhibition, awarding best student designers among SAA (Final Architecture Studio) participants. It has been a tool for evaluating the quality of architecture students works, especially in the final studio. It has been held with the support of IAI (Indonesian Institute of Architects). This is an example of integration between academic and professional field, to answer the demand of current architectural field.

Hello everyone. It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 40th SAA Awards, where we will recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of the individuals and organizations at our university.

We come to commemorate and celebrate the most extraordinary and inspiring individuals, as well as the Architecture Department of Parahyangan Catholic University. We applaud the dedication, hard work, and ingenuity that have contributed to our success, and we are proud to stand here and celebrate our joint accomplishments.

Twenty years have passed since the first SAA Awards. This journey brings so many stories and designs to show what the Architecture Department of UNPAR really looks like. SAA Awards have raised the bar on what student final projects should be. Congratulations on this 40th award. May SAA Awards be known locally and globally, carry around critical value about Arsitektur Nusantara.
